Victory Poker Confirms its Move to Cake

The Chief Executive of Victory Poker, Dan Fleyshman, has ended days of speculation by confirming that the site is ready to move to the Cake Poker Network. Fleyschman said that Victory Poker will be moving from the Everleaf network and this will become effective from September 1st, 2010 – almost immediately.

While the CE said that Everleaf gave the site what it initially needed to get off the ground, he also said that it was time for Victory Poker to move to a new network that would help it expand and grow.

“I really was happy with the passion of the team at Everleaf but I felt like Cake could handle all things that I wanted deep down inside,” said Fleyschman.

“They have a Malta license which is where I happily live! Over 100 employees, management that I see working hard at all the conventions and loads of guaranteed tournaments! I’m really excited to do promotions with them, they are already successful but I want to help build that whole network on a global scale,” he added enthusiastically.

Stories of Victory Poker’s possible move to the Cake Poker Network began circulating last week after a source quoted Fleyschman as saying that he would be announcing major changes for the site on his birthday – September 1st.

A special celebratory party will be held by the high-profile poker room in London in order to celebrate the move to Cake Poker, with a special guest appearance by Playboy Playmate, Sara Underwood who will be locked up in a cage.

A photo shoot will also follow the announcement.

Victory Poker shares a close relationship with a number of popular poker professionals such as Doyle Brunson and Phil Laak.
