Recommendations for New Players

I would recommend getting some sort of poker hand analysis software if you are a beginner. There are tons out there but the most popular is probably Poker Tracker. It is a bit tricky to get used to at first but is great for tracking your play and analyzing your stats. There are also many good poker odds calculations where you can plug in certain hands and it will show you the odds of certain outcomes.
